CLARIS water filters contain different recoverable materials. Thanks to our recycling program, these components are reprocessed and largely reused. Return your CLARIS filter cartridges to the collection point at the JURA headquarters in Niederbuchsiten and give them a new lease of life, again and again.

Reuse

1. Filtration granules
The first step consists of separating the ion exchange resin and the activated carbon which constitute the granules. Once regenerated, the ion exchange resin can be reused to make new filters.

Recycling

2. Filter housing
The plastic parts are cleaned, sorted by color and processed into pellets in a plastic crusher. These granules serve as raw material for the manufacture of drainage pipes, for example.

3. Activated carbon
Once separated, the activated carbon is subjected to thermal recovery, to produce energy for example.

Thank you for your contribution.

By returning your used water filters, you actively support JURA's philosophy focused on sustainable development. You offer several lives to CLARIS filter cartridges and thus participate in the preservation of resources. We thank you with all our hearts.
